2015 Upper Picnic Block Pinot Noir

Situated just above Picnic Block, the fruit profile from Upper Picnic is markedly different. The wine offers intense aromas of alpine strawberry, rose petals and Asian 5-spice. Tightly wound on the palate now, but generous flavors of cherry cola, cedar, and white pepper reveal themselves. Again the acid is prominent and fresh and the complexity of this wine will reward the drinker with some time in the bottle, though it is lovely right now as well. Drink now or be rewarded with additional cellaring for 5-7 years. 140 Cases Produced.
