Medium garnet, the nose reveals dusty cherry, clove, and earth. Medium-bodied stuffed with red fruits, the wine is layered with subtle coconut, vanilla crème, and toast. Lighter than other vintages, this wine begs for food. Rigatoni bolognese or even roast chicken with shiitake mushrooms love the acidity and balance of this wine.
