2021 Block Verde Grüner Veltliner
This marks our inaugural vintage of Grüner Veltliner at Neely Wine and Spring Ridge Vineyard. Block Verde was planted in 2019 adjacent to the Tasting Room. Pale lemon hues, the intense nose is packed with ginger candy, Asian pear, and fresh-cut hay on the palate, flavors of fleshy peach and lime pith ride over the light body, and zippy acidity. Fresh, with a balance of fruit and spice, this wine is the perfect pairing to sushi or any crudo.
